Our Guarantee

We understand that every decision you make for your home is an important one, that’s why we give you the security of not just one, but three exclusive Choices Flooring guarantees, so you can shop with absolute confidence:

60daysguarantee
If within 60 days of installation, you are not satisfied with either the colour or style of your carpet*, subject to the Terms & Conditions below, we will replace your carpet with another Choices Flooring carpet of a different style or colour. You are however required to pay for all re- installation costs of the carpet and any other related costs.
guarantees
Guarantee covers all workmanship for the normal lifetime of your carpet. Not applicable to commercial, rental residential or builders. Only applicable to residential owner occupiers. Guarantee is not transferable.

* This guarantee does not include Builders Choice, Wall Street or commercial carpets. Neither does it include carpets laid for non domestic use nor in rental properties. Area rugs are not covered under this Replacement Guarantee.

** Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The 60 Day Replacement Guarantee (“Replacement Guarantee”) applies to all Choices  Flooring carpets (“Eligible Carpet”); excluding the brands of Builders Choice, Wall Street or all other commercial carpets.
  2. Under this Replacement Guarantee, Eligible Carpet may be replaced with another Choices Flooring carpet offered for sale at the store of initial purchase of a different style or colour (as selected by the customer), but not any other type of flooring option, including but not limited to timber, laminate, vinyl or tiles.
  3. This Replacement Guarantee will apply only to Eligible Carpet installed in owner-occupied residential premises where no commercial activity takes place.
  4. To qualify for the Replacement Guarantee, the customer must keep their installed Eligible Carpet for a minimum of 30 days, and lodge a claim within 60 days of the date of original installation. The customer will not receive any replacement carpet until after 60 days of the date of original installation.
  5. To lodge a claim under this Replacement Guarantee, the customer must contact the retailer where their Eligible Carpet was originally purchased, after 30 days of installation and within 60 days of the date of original installation. The original sales receipt or other documentation that confirms the date and proof of purchase must be supplied.
  6. Where the cost of the replacement carpet is less than the original Eligible Carpet, the customer will not be eligible for a refund (or any other benefit) for the difference in cost.
  7. Where the cost of the replacement carpet exceeds the original cost of the Eligible Carpet, the customer will be required to pay the difference in cost.
  8. This Replacement Guarantee is for one-time replacement only of the Eligible Carpet originally purchased. If another Eligible Carpet is chosen by the customer as a replacement carpet, the Replacement Guarantee will not apply to the replacement carpet.
  9. The customer will not be permitted to retain the original Eligible Carpet that has been replaced under this Replacement Guarantee. The store will only replace the Eligible Carpet upon its return, if it is of merchantable quality at the time of removal. Any wear, staining or other damage will render the Replacement Guarantee void.
  10. The customer will be responsible for all re-installation costs and any other costs associated with the replacement of the Eligible Carpet, including but not limited to furniture removal, and take up of initial carpet purchased.
  11. This Replacement Guarantee will not apply:
    a) if the Eligible Carpet has been applied using a direct stick application i.e. the application process whereby
    the carpet is glued to the floor OR whereby the carpet glued to underlay and the underlay is glued to the floor;
    b) if the customer has not lodged a claim with the retailer where the Eligible
    Carpet was originally purchased within 60 calendar days of installation;
    c) if the Eligible Carpet has been put to commercial use. “Commercial use”
    includes, but is not limited to, use in a store, office or other place of business;
    d) to defects in installation (please refer to the separate lifetime installation guarantee); and
    e) to defects in the Eligible Carpet (please refer to the separate manufacturers warranty document in this regard).
  12. This Replacement Guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
