Meet our team:

Adam Evans: Store Owner, Director and Store Manager: 

Born at Manly Hospital and attending Collaroy Plateau Public School and Cromer High School. Adam has worked in retail since leaving school, working at Target Warringah Mall and then moving into management roles with Big W and Priceline before he began working for Choice’s flooring in February 2006 and took over ownership of the store on 1^st April 2013.

Over 19 years, Adam has garnered a wealth of Experience in Aged Care Requirements, Real Estate and Strata work, Commercial Project management, Wool Accreditation, Colour and Design, Visual Merchandising, Draftsmanship, and Australian Building Code about floor coverings, fire ratings, slip ratings and acoustic ratings. When not at work, Adam loves hiking in the Blue Mountains, making liqueurs and playing guitar.

Amanda Evans:

As the saying goes, behind every great man is a woman, which is certainly the case here. Adam and Amanda have been married for 20 years, and both grew up on the Northern Beaches with Amanda attending school at Allambie Public and McKellar Girls. Amanda is the bookkeeper and the glue in the team and handles a myriad of responsibilities, such as staff counselling (lots), OHS, superannuation and GST compliance, roster management, social gathering coordinator, to name but a few. Amanda loves live music and her morning Coffee.

Rusty-Jay Evans:

The newest member of our team. After attending Elanora Heights Public School, Rusty-Jay finished High school and his HSC at Narrabeen Sports High at the end of 2024 and began working at the store beginning in January 2025. He has quickly learnt how to run the warehouse, drive the forklifts, and has been on several jobs with both the carpet layers and vinyl layers. Rusty-Jay works part-time and is about to begin a photography course at TAFE on his days off.

Kim White - 2IC and Insurance Work:

Kim grew up on the Northern Beaches, attending both Balgowlah Heights Public School and Balgowlah Boys High School and was involved in playing for and coaching the Manly Colts Rugby Union team. After representing companies in roofing, the printing industry and radio, Kim began working at Choices Flooring on Valentine's Day 2012. Kim now has 13+ years of experience in flooring and has toured suppliers' manufacturing plants and completed similar training to Adam. Kim loves his sport and a cold beer.

Bryn Woodruff:

Bryn started in the flooring industry back in 1990 and has accumulated 35 years of experience in floor coverings. Over the years, Bryn has worked in high-level roles for Tarkett, Feltex, Amtico and AFS (flooring manufacturers). Suffice it to say, Bryn’s knowledge and experience in floor coverings and associated products are extensive. Bryn joined our experienced team in 2020. Outside of work, Bryn collects guitars and loves a single malt scotch whiskey.
