Fiona Noakes – Sales Team

Fiona has been an integral part of the flooring industry since 2008 and a valued member of the Choices Flooring Parkes team ever since. With her extensive experience, she assists customers in-store with their flooring and window covering selections, helping them bring their vision to life. Fiona also conducts onsite measures and quotes, providing a seamless, personalized service from start to finish.

When she's not helping customers, Fiona loves spending time with her nine grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. She also enjoys gardening and cooking, bringing the same care and creativity to her hobbies as she does to her work. Her warm nature, dedication, and passion for helping others make her an essential part of the Choices Flooring Parkes team.

Leanne Robinson – Sales Team

Leanne brings over a decade of experience in the bathroom and floor coverings industry, helping customers find the perfect flooring and window coverings at Choices Flooring Parkes. With her interior design certification, she has a keen eye for style and enjoys curating options that suit each customer’s unique needs and preferences.

In addition to her role at Choices Flooring Parkes, Leanne is also the Sales Manager for our sister business, Parkes Tile and Bathroom, where her industry expertise and customer-focused approach make her an invaluable asset.

Outside of work, Leanne enjoys sewing, mosaicing, and spending quality time with her family. Her passion for design and dedication to customer satisfaction make her an essential part of our team.

Richard Bligh – Co-Owner

As co-owner of Choices Flooring Parkes, Richard Bligh plays a vital role in overseeing the installation teams for floor coverings, ensuring every project meets the highest standards. With 17 years of experience in window coverings and 7 years in flooring, he brings a deep understanding of both industries. Richard personally handles the measuring and installation of all window coverings, delivering expert craftsmanship and precision. While he occasionally assists customers in-store, he spends most of his time on-site, managing installations and working alongside a skilled team of qualified installers and apprentices.

Richard and his wife, Michelle, purchased the business in 2017 after previously running a business on the Sunshine Coast. Owning and operating a business in Parkes has allowed him to connect with the local community, something he truly values.

Outside of work, Richard has a passion for fishing and hunting and enjoys spending quality time with his family. His hands-on approach, industry expertise, and dedication to excellence make him an essential part of Choices Flooring Parkes.

Michelle Bligh – Co-Owner

As co-owner of Choices Flooring Parkes, Michelle Bligh manages the essential backend operations of the business, handling everything from processing orders to accounts. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, she also enjoys assisting customers in-store, particularly with window coverings—an area of expertise she has honed over 17 years. With 7 years of experience in flooring as well, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

Michelle and her husband, Richard, purchased the business in 2017 after previously running a business on the Sunshine Coast. For Michelle, owning a business in Parkes is especially meaningful, as it brought her back home to the town where she grew up. She loves the strong sense of community and the connections she has built over the years.

Outside of work, you'll often find Michelle in the garden or tending to her growing collection of indoor plants. Her passion for both business and community makes her an integral part of Choices Flooring Parkes.

Alec Bateson – Installation Team

Alec Bateson has been laying floor coverings for 10 years, with the past 7 years spent as a valued member of the Choices Flooring Parkes team. As a qualified flooring installation specialist, he takes pride in delivering top-quality workmanship and ensuring customers are happy with the final result.

Known for his friendly and talkative nature, Alec is always up for a chat—customers love his easygoing personality, and he has a way of making every job enjoyable. On top of that, he’s one of those annoyingly talented people who’s good at every sport he tries. Whether it’s running, squash, soccer, or his latest obsession, lawn bowls, he somehow makes it look easy.

When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find him fishing or spending time with his young family. With his skill, enthusiasm, and great sense of humor, Alec is a valued part of our installation team.

Jayden Wirth – Installation Team

Jayden Wirth has been part of the Choices Flooring Parkes team since finishing Year 12, starting as an apprentice and working his way up to a skilled and qualified flooring installer. From the beginning, he knew flooring installation was what he wanted to do, and his passion shows in every job—he’s dedicated to making sure each installation is nothing short of perfect.

Known for his friendly nature and efficiency, Jayden is a hardworking and reliable member of the team. Around town, he’s often recognised as the "Butcher’s Boy" thanks to his dad being the local butcher. Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer on weekends, though after a knee injury, he now takes it a bit easier on the field.

With his attention to detail, great attitude, and commitment to quality, Jayden is a valued part of our installation team.

Daniel Robb Potts – Installation Team

Daniel Robb Potts is in the final stages of his apprenticeship and will be a fully qualified flooring installer next year. A quiet achiever, Daniel is meticulous in his work, taking a methodical approach to every installation to ensure a flawless finish. His keen eye for detail and steady precision make him a standout among his peers.

But there’s more to Daniel than meets the eye—he’s an incredible artist and a bit of a dark horse when it comes to creativity. While he might not be the loudest in the room, his talent and dedication speak for themselves.

With his skill, patience, and determination, Daniel is set to be an outstanding tradesman and a valued part of our team for years to come.

Dylan Saville – Installation Team

Dylan Saville is a hardworking and dedicated 2nd-year apprentice who is steadily honing his skills in flooring installation. A quiet achiever, Dylan’s abilities are growing rapidly, and his attention to detail is proving him to be a promising tradesman.

Though he’s on the quieter side, Dylan is always friendly and ready to learn. Recently moving out of home, he’s now navigating life without the luxury of his mum’s cooking—an adventure in itself!

With his strong work ethic and steady progress, Dylan is shaping up to be a valuable installer and a great asset to our team.
